Way back in 1986 Duck Butter Records was started by Myself, Tim Biskup & My Brother, Mike Biskup. We released our first record "The Big Butter EP" by our band, Big Butter, in December of that year.
We kept making our own records, as well as a few by friends bands until 1991. Our "From The Udder.." LP/CD was the last anyone heard from us until recently.
Shortly after that I snuck my way into the animation industry & got REALLY busy. My career as an artist added to the reasons not to put out records.
In 1998 I met Brian Bell from Weezer who asked me to paint a cover for a single by his band, Space Twins. I was a big fan of Weezer & when I heard that the Space Twins' music was even better I proposed a partnership. We made two Space Twins singles & a new Big Butter single.
Both Space Twins & Big Butter prepared full length albums for release in 2000. Neither of them have seen the light of day.
The amazing success of Weezer's third album & the demands of my fine art & animation careers have pulled us away from the needs of the label. So, both albums lay dormant until such time that we can devote our energy to their release.
A few copies of older DB releases are available in the catalog section but nearly all of the over 30 releases are sold out.

We look forward to eventually finding the time to be a real label.
