Click here for info. 8/22/01 Thanks to all of those who contributed to & placed bids in our Myths & Legends auction on Sunday. It was a huge success, taking in over $24,000.00! Click here to see results. Our next auction will be in May of 2002. Be sure to get on our email list to get the latest updates about. Just send an email to burningbrush@timbiskup.com & ask to be added to the list. 8/11/01 As you can see we have added room for several extra lots in our Myths & Legends auction. The response from artists has been overwhelming! Lots of new names this time around. Keep checking back as we will be adding new lots every few days. Several artists are bringing work directly to the auction. If you can be present you will have an opportunity to bid on pieces only available to atendees. Thanks to all of those that have placed online bids. If you have yet to bid, remember that the deadline for online bidding is Saturday, August 18th at 9pm. Don't miss out. The Myths and Legends site is under construction & will launch on July 18th with a preview of all of the art in the auction. We will be teasing you with bits and pieces from time to time leading up to the launch so keep checking in. For those of you not on the mailing list, sign-up now! Sunday, August 19th at the Bigfoot Lodge. This is going to be another themed auction. This time it's "Myths & Legends". There was a little misunderstanding about the last update. The auction location is not changing. My wife Seonna & I are moving to Pasadena. Sorry for the confusion - Tim 3/30/2001 9/24/2000 The BB3000 auction is starting to take shape. There are a few pieces up on the website with LOTS more to come. We should have most of the paintings online by October 11th. Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank will be doing a preview of some of the work in the auction from October 2nd to the 27th. The art will be hanging in the studio's lobby. It's not really open to the public, but if you are nice they will probably let you look around. Postcards promoting the show have started circulating but the real promotion won't start until the begining of October. 8/21/2000 The next auction is October 28th, & has an "Outer Space" theme. We're in the process of compiling work from our favorite artists. Some new people & lots of old favorites. If you're an artists & you'd like to submit your work for the auction send an Email with urls to some of your work. We'll look it over & let you know if we'd like to sell your work. 4/13/2000 Burning Brush artists Tim Biskup & Miles Thompson have submitted 4 colloborative paintings for a group show at New Image Art in Hollywood. The show, appropriately titled "Collaborations" also features Ed Moses, the Clayton Brothers & Rich Jacobs. April 14 - May 13, 2000.
