"Poky the Spaceman"

Aleksei Messerschmidt, born November 16, 1994, started drawing at age 2. Aleksei is a super-smart, inquisitive young boy. Aleksei knows color theory; he likes wear complimentary colors when he gets dressed in the morning. He started learning technique at the age of 4 1/2 in art classes at Budding Artistes. He loves to be the first student in class. "Poky the Spaceman" was completed in July 2000. On November 16, Aleksei will turn the ripe ol' age of 6. As the years go by, his passion for art continues to grow. He says, "I will never stop drawing and painting."
